We are excited to share highlights from the Florida State Coalition of NCNW, Inc. Inaugural "Freedom to Learn" Annual Book Drive. The book drive is a statewide initiative that aligns with NCNW Programs which are grounded on a foundation of critical concerns known as NCNW Priorities: Healthcare, Education, Economic Empowerment and Social Justice. The goal of the book drive program is to encourage children of all ages to read books by Black Authors and Black Illustrators.
We are confident Community and Campus Sections across the state made a meaningful difference in the communities we serve by donating books to various organizations. It is our hope the books will inspire and nurture the dreams of children for years to come.
Greetings!
It is with great hope and excitement that I greet you as President of the Florida State Coalition of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW). I am deeply honored to lead the Coalition as we continue on the journey to mobilize our network in achieving NCNW’s Programs that are grounded on a foundation of critical concerns known as “NCNW Priorities”. Our organization promotes education; encourages entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and economic stability; we educate women about health and healthcare access, and we promote civic engagement, and advocate for sound public policy and social justice.
As I travel around the state and collaborate with many of our members and associates, I am inspired by your deep commitment to move the Coalition forward. With your ongoing dedication and the generous support of our communities, I am confident NCNW will continue to create a positive and lasting impact in the communities we proudly serve.
Together, we can make a difference.
